Patrimony post mortem

The show is now installed at The Space until the 25th of July. It was a labour of love to create. I wanted to work with wire and embroidery to produce a sketch, dimensional coat of arms. The title of the show makes clear my intention to create an object that speaks of the islands of Trinidad and Tobago at this time. The use of the coat of arms is specific to our nation and the loose threads give a sense of wasting away. The deliberate combination of neat and rough textures speak fo the conflict we all personally face in being what our motto suggests, "Together we aspire, together we achieve."
